BEST DENTAL OFFICE EQUIPMENT SAFETY
The goal of our office is to provide our patients with the best level of dental office safety possible. After reading this page, you may be pleasantly surprised to learn of the combination of safety features that are exclusive to this dental office and make it one of the safest dental facilities in the country.

HIGH TECH DENTAL & EQUIPMENT SAFETY
Having the best dental equipment matters; our high-tech treatment room equipment eliminates the hazardous potential contact with bodily fluids (blood and saliva) that are sucked into the dental equipment lines. When the dentist lifts his foot off of the pedal that controls the dental drill, it can generate suction of saliva and/or blood from a patient’s mouth into the dental drill and hose. To eliminate this risk, we only use equipment that pushes air and water out of the dental drill when the dentist lifts his foot off of the pedal. This is a dental patient safety issue that is critical.
PRIVATE DENTAL TREATMENT ROOMS – Dental Patient Safety
Our dental treatment rooms are a first class way to receive your dental care. Our treatment rooms provide privacy, clean air and greatly reduce the risk of airborne pathogens, such as tuberculosis, colds, bacteria and viruses that may cause diseases. The best dental patient safety is possible with private treatment rooms.
CEILING MOUNTED TV SETS
OK, we know this is not a safety feature, per se, but it is a first class way to entertain yourself while you are receiving your dental care in a private room. We have found that the patients are less anxious with a pair of headphones and the remote control right in their hands.
PURIFIED AIR- TWO LEVELS OF ELECTRONIC FILTRATION
The entire dental office is equipped with clean electronically purified air conditioning systems that remove airborne contaminants. We have two separate air-conditioning systems that filter and cool the air. Our customized air conditioning system has a separate room-intake-duct, which pushes air into our private treatment rooms and another duct that removes air at the same time. The two levels of electronic air purification provide safe, clean air that is beyond average dental office safety standards.
LEAD LINED TREATMENT ROOM WALLS
The treatment room walls are lead-lined to protect our patients from dental x-rays taken in other treatment rooms. Along with this unique dental patient safety feature, we enhance our patient’s safety with our advanced x-ray equipment. Our dental x-ray equipment reduces scatter radiation by moving the focal point of the x-ray beam built to the rear of the x-ray head. The best dental patient safety involves reducing radiation for the dental x-ray machine and reducing radiation for other rooms.
GLASS SLIDING DOORS
For ultimate patient comfort, our dental office treatment rooms have sliding glass doors, which offer privacy, protection, and peace and quiet. The doors isolate the dental care rooms from the noise and outside pollutants. The safety of rapid exchange air, lead lined walls and high tech dental equipment make your care a first class experience. The best high tech dental office safety is determined by how the dental office is built.
BACTERIA in the DENTAL EQUIPMENT WATER LINES
Over time, bacteria build up in the water lines and can end up in your mouth during a dental visit. Patients can be exposed to bacterial build-up from dental office water lines when the drill is running or when water is sprayed to rinse the mouth. Using independent distilled water systems solves this problem; only distilled water goes through our dental equipment and into the patient’s mouth. As an additional level of protection, each dental care room has an antibacterial agent that treats the distilled water system. The safety of our distilled water system combined with an additional antibacterial treatment system gives patient’s the comfort of knowing they are totally protected.
STERILIZED HAND PIECES (DENTAL DRILLS)
In order to sanitize dental drills and instruments, dental professionals can either clean them in a sterilizer or disinfect them with wipes. Sterilization utilizes heat and pressure in an autoclave while disinfection is just a wipe with antibacterial solution. Even though it is more costly to sterilize handpieces (because the heat and pressure in the sterilization unit can damage dental instruments over time) it remains the best way to maintain patient safety. Instead of just wiping down our dental instruments, we sterilize every instrument and each handpiece (drills) every time, for every patient for every procedure.
MOUTH CAMERA SYSTEMS
Every room in this office is has high-tech camera systems that magnify your mouth up to 26 times of its size. The quality of every aspect of you dental care increases when the dentist can see minute details.

To protect the patients, every camera system has a disposable plastic barrier that is removed every time, for every patient. The barrier is used with the best systems and is the safest way to use an "in the mouth" magnified camera system.
HIGHLY EXPERIENCED DENTAL STAFF
A highly experienced dental staff can bring patient safety to higher levels. The probability of cross contamination is very high in a dental office because there are so many instruments, handles, countertops, dental impression materials and computer keys that are constantly touched. The highly experienced dental staff can help reduce the risks of treatment, increase the speed of treatment and make the experience a first class experience. The skills of the dentist are also an indisputable necessity for successful treatment.
