While watching a segment on KTLA's morning news, Peggy saw Gail Anderson covering a dentist whom she describes as, "the most incredible doctor I have ever seen." KTLA features the largest morning news coverage in Southern California. Peggy had been thinking about improving her smile for a long time. She wanted her teeth to be healthy but also wanted the best cosmetic treatment. Peggy was, of course, concerned about the cost of the treatment. DENTAL IMPLANTS VS. FIXED BRIDGE
Peggy chose to replace her missing teeth with a fixed dental bridge. A fixed bridge is both long lasting and stable, and can be completed in as little as two weeks. Because Peggy had already chosen to restore the neighboring teeth, a bridge was more cost efficient than implants. Dental implants are also incredibly strong, durable, and they look and feel completely natural. It can, however, take several months to complete implant treatment since implants are done in stages and ample healing time is required between stages. For this reason, Peggy chose the fixed dental bridge. Now, she is totally comfortable and nobody can tell which teeth are missing. Porcelain veneers were utilized to revitalize the rest of her natural teeth and new, biologically compatible porcelain crowns replaced old dental work.
SMILE MAKE OVERS
