Amber:
PORCELAIN VENEERS CAN CORRECT A BAD BITE

The Best Marina Del Rey Cosmetic Dentist for bite reconstruction and porcelain veneers

How to Find the Best Cosmetic Dentist in Marina Del Rey?

Amber researched the Internet extensively and, through a process of elimination, found the cosmetic dentist who had the best "before and after" pictures of his patients. Many dentists will have fancy websites with pictures of great articles and smiling models, but paid advertising doesn’t offer much knowledge about the dentist's work. Amber was impressed when she came across a dentist who only shows pictures of his own patients and was even featured on the KTLA morning news. Pictures really are worth a thousand words.

Amber - Porcelain Veneers can correct a Bad Bite

MALOCCLUSION (BAD BITE)

A bad bite can be a result of a deep overbite. This is when the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth too much. A crossbite is when the upper teeth fit inside the lower teeth and can also cause malocclusion. Amber had a crossbite as well as a smile that was too narrow. Her teeth were also crooked and grey in color. She wanted a complete smile makeover but was convinced that only the best dentist in Marina Del Rey would touch her mouth.

NARROW SMILE & the SMILE MAKEOVER

Because Amber only showed some of their teeth when she smiled, Dr. Muslin wanted to give her a wider smile that would balance and compliment the rest of her features. The smile makeover looks more complete when a smile is widened and the patient shows most of their teeth. A full wide smile, with a correction in the cross bite, required a combination of porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns.

PORCELAIN VENEERS & PORCELAIN CROWNS

The combination of porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns on the same patient poses a challenging task for the dentist. All of the teeth have to match and transfer light equally in different types of lighting. Without proper technology, some patients will have porcelain crowns that look different from the porcelain veneers. Amber is already a beautiful young lady, but she wanted a smile makeover that made her look better; mismatching teeth would be unacceptable to her.

TROUBLE-FREE SMILE MAKEOVER

Nearly 2 years After Amber was treated, she returned to the dental office for follow up care. Her teeth still looked great and she had not experienced any pain, tooth sensitivity, or any other problems. She loved how she looked and came back with a great big smile on her face. It was a pleasure to see her again and she looks great with her new hair color.

Sam Muslin, D.D.S., M.A.G.D., sincerely thanks Amber for letting him show her full face and close up images. Her photos are untouched and unaltered photos.
